The Earth is Damned.

The year is 700 A.D. - "After Descent" that is, and wars both within The Heavens and on Earth have left the six surviving disciples of the Gods in control of the Earth and the gates to the Heavens closed to all mankind until true belief in the Gods is rightfully restored. As the Earth struggles to restore itself, decedents of survivor warriors who refuse to worship the fake prophets ban together and hire themselves out as pirate mercenaries only to find their fates intertwined with their past enemy.

After their defeat by the Gods in the Heavenly Wars which had a critical impact on the Earth, the Disciples were banished to Earth to restore faith in the Gods and prevent a shattered world from a perilous fate. Instead they took over. To maintain remnants of immortal power and abilities they had in The Heavens, the six disciples rule with a promise of redemption for all that worship them.  A promise which some now believe they don’t have the power to keep!

This disbelief in the Disciples and a corrupt government has caused the formation of many rebellious groups that would die before giving up their freedom or beliefs. Time has seen many of these groups come and go leaving just a few remaining. The largest and most dangerous of the few are the Pirates - a group of mercenaries that sell their services to the highest bidder in order to maintain their survival on a hidden Island known as the Cove.

Their successful raids on traveling merchant ships and land targets has left many in fear of them while their knack for defying capture by Official authorities have left some questioning the power and strength of the Government, thus allowing for a new code for people to live by; If you want it take it. If you can’t, hire someone who can!

Cove Pirate Mercenary follows Claw De Falcon, leader of the pirate mercenaries and captain of the living ship, Predator's Wrath, as he suddenly discovers his true purpose which he has no choice but to accept.
